LANSING, Mich., July 16, 2024 — The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has awarded a Match on Main grant for $25,000 to Baldwin’s BBQ in Saginaw. Match on Main is a reimbursement grant program that serves to support new or expanding place-based businesses by providing up to $25,000 in funding to support eligible activities.

“I am thrilled that Baldwin’s BBQ has been awarded this grant from the MEDC,” said state Rep. Amos O’Neal (D-Saginaw). “Small businesses are the cornerstone of our communities and promote economic growth and development. This grant will allow Baldwin’s BBQ to expand their business, creating jobs and allowing them to continue to serve our community and support our economy.”

The focus of this grant is to support the creation and growth of businesses on main street and provide eligible communities with a business recruitment and retention tool as they work to grow and support their local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
