LANSING — Today, General Motors announced it would invest $36 million into its Lansing Delta Township assembly plant for future crossover production. In response, state Rep. Angela Witwer (D-Delta Township) issued the following statement:
“This is a huge investment for mid-Michigan and the economic success of hardworking families throughout the region. I was pleased to join Mary Barra in recognizing the role of Lansing, Delta Township and the UAW in GM’s future success and I look forward to working together to ensure we continue to build things right here in the Auto State.”
