ST. JOSEPH, Mich., Dec. 4, 2023 — Holtec International, the owner of the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant, announced today the planned construction of two new reactors at the site. The small modular reactors will each generate 300 megawatts of energy, nearly doubling the output of the plant when it comes back online in the next two years. After the announcement, state Rep.
