LANSING, Mich. Oct. 8, 2024 — There has been a recent slew of anti-Semitic materials being left on household lawns in Michigan. In response to the anti-Semitic flyers with a link to a white supremacist website being distributed in their districts, state Reps. Kelly Breen (D-Novi), Matt Koleszar (D-Plymouth), Jason Morgan (D-Ann Arbor) and Ranjeev Puri (D-Canton) issued the following joint statement:
“Our communities have been flooded with disturbing flyers that convey anti-Jewish rhetoric. This bigoted, hate-filled attempt to terrorize our neighbors and community members will not go unchecked. Let us be clear — anti-Semitism and white supremacy have no home here, and we vehemently condemn it. This kind of hate aims to divide people, and we are doubling down on our commitment to end hate and foster unity in our hometowns. We believe there is a tremendous amount more that unites people in Michigan and all across this country than divides us — we will continue to put all our energy into what brings people together and fight against that which pulls people apart.”
