Spring Cleaning Park Tour

My team and I love being there for our community! We have spent the last few Saturdays cleaning parks around the district. This Saturday we will head to parks in the City of Pontiac. The pictures above are from our park cleaning of Sylvan Lake and the picture to the right is of Keego Harbor. I hope to see you in Pontiac!

May Vaccination Events

On May 4, the Oakland County Health Department, Council of Mexico, Debra Ehrmann and Centro Multicultural La Familia will be hosting a vaccination event between 1 and 4 p.m.  200 people sign up and 50 walk-ins at Carnival Market.

On May 10, Honors Community Health, and Centro Multicultural La Familia will celebrate Mother’s Day with another vaccination event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be giveaways.

Starting in May, I am going to recognize one business as “Small Business of the Month”. Small businesses are the heart of our communities and the dedicated people who operate them deserve their hard work and contributions to be acknowledged. Mass Vaccination Site Opens in Pontiac

On April 2 I joined elected leaders from all levels of government to commemorate the opening of the mass vaccination site in Pontiac! This vaccination site is at the United Wholesale Mortgage Sports Complex located at 867 South Blvd. E.

The site is expected to give 1,000-3,000 shots per day but can administer up to 5,000! If you have not been able to receive your vaccine as of this time, I highly encourage you to click here and register for an appointment.
