Dear Neighbor,

Fall is here and the trees have begun to turn. Many of us are looking forward to enjoying Michigan’s scenic treelines, sweet cider and delicious doughnuts. Over the past month I have had the opportunity to connect with many of you through email, at community events and at your doors. I love talking with my fellow community members; it’s a grounding experience that makes me better at representing you. As we enter the season of change I hope that we will continue having these important conversations.

I’m also glad to share information on events and updates with you in this latest edition of my newsletter. Also included in this issue are a few resources I hope you find helpful. Please do not hesitate to reach out to my office by phone at (517) 373-0823 or email me at [email protected] for questions about this or any other state-level issue. You can follow me on Facebook to get regular legislative updates, too. I look forward to hearing from you!

In Service,

Natalie Price
State Representative

Legislative & District Updates

We Are Knocking On Your Doors

Over the past few months we have knocked on thousands of doors in our district, having great conversations about our work in Lansing and talking about issues you care about. These conversations have focused on topics ranging from noise on Woodward to the education budget to the housing crisis. If we haven’t talked to you yet, don’t worry. We will continue to knock on doors throughout the fall, and you can reach us at our office by phone at (517) 373-0823 or email at [email protected].

The MI Vision Project

Recently we launched the MI Vision Project. This project is designed to give constituents like you an opportunity to set our state’s legislative agenda going forward. It is critical now more than ever that governments remain accountable to their electorate. To give your feedback, please visit the website or scan the QR code below.

The following legislative items sponsored by my office have made significant progress towards a vote in the state House:

  • Firearm Safety Sales Tax Exemption (HB 4025)
  • Healthcare Worker Protections (HB 4532)
  • Dogs in Microbreweries (HB 4204)

Please note this is not an exhaustive list of all the issues my office is working on. Stay tuned for updates as we continue working on critical legislation.
