FEB. 23, 2023 — Our community is suffering many power outages due to the ice storm. During this time, you may need shelter or assistance regarding your heat and/or electric utilities. Included are resources available to help you through this difficult time.

  1. Never use a portable generator inside a home or business. It emits carbon monoxide, which can be deadly. Keep it outside, away from windows and doors, so the fumes don’t come in.
  2. Remain indoors, if possible, as there are numerous downed power lines in our area that pose a significant safety risk.

Each location is subject to availability and capacity restrictions — please call, in advance, for current information, and only travel if the conditions are safe.
