LANSING, Mich., July 11, 2022 — Organizers for the Reproductive Freedom for All petition delivered signatures to the Bureau of Elections today. The petition would amend the Michigan Constitution to ensure that no one goes to prison for providing safe medical care as well as ensure access to a broad range of reproductive health care, including abortion. State Rep. Carol Glanville (D-Walker) issued the following statement on the delivery of the signatures:

“I want to commend all the folks who organized and worked hard to collect signatures to put this initiative on the ballot in November. This is democracy at work. And the huge number of signatures collected speaks to the people of Michigan wanting bodily autonomy and reproductive health care rights. I, too, will keep advocating for these rights.”
