At Work in the Community

A bipartisan group of state representatives comprising the House C.A.R.E.S. Task Force met on Monday, July 31, 2017, at the Livingston County EMS facility in Howell. The representatives, including Vanessa Guerra (D-Saginaw), Abdullah Hammoud (D-Dearborn) and Sylvia Santana (D-Detroit), heard from law enforcement, judges and medical professionals about issues surrounding mental health care, substance abuse treatment and incarceration.
