Greetings Neighbors,
I want to invite you to an upcoming event my office is hosting. As you may know, I have been holding events about breaking the stigma around mental health during my time in the Legislature. Talking about topics ranging from sobriety to grief and loss, members of our community have opened up to have meaningful conversations about mental health challenges in their own lives. On Saturday, Feb. 24, from 1-4 p.m., I will host a culminating community health resource fair featuring panelists from various local organizations at the VFW Hall at 17645 E. 9 Mile Road, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Using the resources of my office as your state representative to start the conversation and help people realize they are not alone and access to the resources they need is a main priority of mine.
