The cost of living in Michigan is way too high, and that’s due in large part to utility costs that are skyrocketing all around the country. Unfortunately, President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress like Tom Barrett, who refuse to stand up to him, just keep making things worse.
Bringing more clean energy onto the grid helps increase supply and lower costs. As a new lawsuit filed by Attorney General Dana Nessel lays out, oil and gas companies have spent decades conspiring to kill the development of renewable technology like solar, wind and electric vehicles. This is as blatant an example of rigging the system against us as you’ll find.
