LANSING — State Rep. Sheryl Kennedy (D-Richfield Township) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 48th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Kennedy issued the following statement:

“The people of Genesee County placed their trust in me to advocate for them in Lansing and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity. Our families want every child to have access to the quality education that prepares them for the jobs of tomorrow, robust skills training and better opportunities for small businesses. I look forward to working with my colleagues during this term to enact the policies our communities need to thrive.”
