LANSING — Michigan House and Senate Democrats today called on their Republican colleagues to adopt the Michigan Health Care Bill of Rights now that session in both chambers has resumed.

LANSING — State Rep. Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) honored fallen Detroit Fire Department Firefighter Kevin Vance Ramsey of Dexter today during the state House of Representatives’ annual Sept. 11 ceremony. Rep. Lasinski read Mr. Ramsey’s name during the ceremony that honors first responders who died in the line of duty the previous year and those lost in the 2001 attacks. Mr. Ramsey’s wife, Amy, was in attendance as he was honored during the ceremony.
