LANSING, Mich., Sept. 22, 2021 — The Michigan House of Representatives passed a budget that includes historic investments in the economy, child care and infrastructure. It will also invest $400,000 in the Downriver Community Conference. State Rep. Tullio Liberati (D-Allen Park) issued the following statement in support of the budget’s passage:

“I am extremely proud of the solutions and opportunities we were able to achieve in this bipartisan budget. The investment in the Downriver Community Conference will not only help small businesses and residents in need right now but also play a critical role in revitalizing the Downriver community for many years to come.”
