LANSING, Mich., Jan. 26, 2022 — Today, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her fourth State of the State address from Detroit Diesel. Her remarks highlighted growing the economy, creating jobs, cutting taxes and lowering costs for families. In response, state Rep. Tullio Liberati (D-Allen Park) issued the following statement:
“From investing in roads and water infrastructure to helping small businesses throughout the pandemic, I am proud of the work we’ve been able to accomplish, but there is still more work to do. It’s great to know that we have a governor that is committed to the people of Michigan and making transformational changes to working families. I’m excited to see the work we can accomplish going into the new year.”
