LANSING, Mich., Feb. 28, 2022 — Today, state Rep. Tullio Liberati (D-Allen Park) joined state Rep. Julie M. Rogers, other representatives of the Michigan House Democrats and Director Zaneta Adams of the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency for the Metro Detroit session of a statewide Michigan House Democrats’ Veterans’ Issues Listening Tour. They discussed current issues veterans and their families are facing. Liberati issued the following statement:
“Veterans have put their lives on the line to protect all of us and our freedoms. We must do everything we can to take care of our veterans at home. We heard from them today about their difficulties, and I look forward to working with the Legislature to address their needs.”
