LANSING — State Rep. Sheldon Neeley (D-Flint) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 34th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Neeley issued the following statement:

“Strong communities are the backbone of our state’s success, but for the past eight years, too many have been forgotten by policies that support corporate interests over working families. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue fighting for Flint families at the state Capitol, and will never stop advocating for policies that support them, empower them and provide them the justice they so richly deserve.”
