LANSING, Mich., March 9, 2023 — State and community partners, alongside the Michigan Department of State (SOS), held their first Road to Restoration Clinic in Saginaw yesterday. The statewide clinics help drivers with suspended licenses complete the required steps to become relicensed. In 2022, more than 4,000 Michigan residents were served at 18 different clinics held in 11 cities. About 300 Saginaw area residents with suspended licenses attended the first clinic. State Rep. Amos O’Neal (D-Saginaw) issued the following statement regarding the event:

I am grateful Saginaw had the opportunity to kick off this year’s 2023 Road to Restoration event. I am also thankful for all those who made this successful clinic happen within my district — especially SOS and our local community members. Many constituents who came gained useful information and guidance so they can get back on track to restore their driving privilege. I am looking forward to continuing this tradition each year.”
