LANSING, Mich., April 25, 2023 — State Rep. Noah Arbit (D-West Bloomfield) will announce major legislation to address rising hate crimes in Michigan, alongside Attorney General Dana Nessel and House and Senate colleagues, at a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, at 11:30 a.m.
The legislation will overhaul and strengthen Michigan’s approach to rising hate crimes and pave the way for Michigan to become a national leader in hate crime prevention, intervention and prosecution.
