Rep. Noah Arbit (D-West Bloomfield) highlights the beginning of his second term, announcing committee assignments for the 103rd legislature, with hopes to partner with colleagues to protect inland lakes, and advances to AI

LANSING, Mich. — State Representative Noah Arbit (D-West Bloomfield) issued the following statement in reporting on the beginning of his second term in office, following committee assignments for the 103rd legislature:

“For my second term, my promise to you, the people of West Bloomfield, Commerce, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, Sylvan Lake, and Bloomfield remains the same as it always has: to wake up every day and work my heart out to represent you and your family with faith and fidelity. I won’t promise perfection, but whether we agree or disagree on a given issue, I promise to listen to your perspective, consider your views, and respond to your needs. I am ready to serve.”

“I am excited to announce my committee assignments for the 103rd Legislature. I am glad to be a continuing member of the House Committee on Natural Resources, where I will prioritize efforts to protect our inland lakes here in Greater West Bloomfield and Commerce. The Communications and Technology Committee is a new committee, and I am excited to dig in and learn about how we can utilize digital platforms to deliver improved government services to Michiganders, as well as ensure the safety of our state with respect to advances in AI. Excited to partner with colleagues on both sides of the aisle for the work ahead; as always, my North Star is the people of West Bloomfield, Commerce, and the Lakes.”
