LANSING, Mich., Jan. 12, 2023 — With the beginning of the 102nd Legislative Session, state Rep. Dylan Wegela (D-Garden City) of the 26th House District announced his committee assignments in the Michigan House of Representatives.

 

“I have the honor of representing the great people of Garden City, Inkster, Westland and Romulus as a member of the following committees:

“As a former teacher and labor organizer, I look forward to fighting for Michigan’s students, teachers, school staff and all working-class Michiganders on the Education and Labor committees. As the proud grandson of a WWII veteran and the nephew of a Vietnam veteran, it will be an honor to advance policies that help our state’s military service members and veterans while working on the Military, Veterans, and Homeland Security committee.
