DELTA TOWNSHIP — State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township) will be visiting schools throughout the 71st House District this month to read to students in celebration of “March is Reading Month”.

“Reading is not only a skill essential to being able to function in today’s society, but regular reading also helps our children develop their imagination and learn,” Witwer said. “Books have played an important role in my life, and I am happy to be able to share my love of reading with the students and teachers in my district.”

Rep. Witwer will be reading to classes at the following schools:

  • Monday, March 4, from 8 to 9 a.m. at St. Gerard in Delta Township
  • Monday, March 4, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Winan’s Elementary School in Delta Township
  • Friday, March 8, at 8:30 a.m. at Bellevue Community Schools in Bellevue
  • Friday, March 8, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Delta Center Elementary School in Grand Ledge
  • Friday, March 22, from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at Dimondale Elementary in Dimondale
  • Monday, March 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Colt Preschool in Delta Township
  • Tuesday, March 26, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. at Washington Elementary in Charlotte
  • Tuesday, March 26, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Parkview Elementary in Charlotte
  • Wednesday, March 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Beagle Elementary in Grand Ledge
