National Coalition of Insurance Legislators

I had the pleasure of attending the National Coalition of Insurance Legislators meeting in Boston, Mass., last month. During my time improving my knowledge on insurance-related issues, I was joined by Michigan Reps. Stone, Coleman and Khale.

The bipartisanship shown by this group of Michigan legislators that attended gives me hope for better solutions to insurance in Michigan for the future.

Appointments

I was honored to be appointed to the following task forces:

In-District Happenings

Legislative Walk Days

B. Carter Walk 1

July 2, Rep. Rabhi, intern Alex Zygmunt, Randy Carter, Jonathan Wertheimer & Tori Kletke.

A huge thank you to state Reps. Abraham Aiyash, Felicia Brabec and staff for helping out District 29!

Budget Meeting

B. Carter with Tate.jpg

I had the opportunity to meet with the Democratic vice chair of the Michigan House Appropriations Committee, my colleague Rep. Joe Tate, on bringing more funding to our communities within District 29. After our discussion, I am confident that our communities will receive much-deserved funding, and I thank Rep. Tate for meeting with me regarding this issue.
