LANSING, Mich., April 3, 2023 — State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township) announced the winners of her Small Business of the Month and Teacher of the Month competitions today.
Ms. Molly Buffington, a teacher at Potterville Elementary School, is March’s Teacher of the Month! She received her award during a March is Reading Month event with Rep. Witwer.
“She is amazing in her class and at helping all her students meet their potential,” her nominator wrote. “She plans and puts together the summer STEAM program that is free for students and runs 18 days each summer starting two years ago. She goes above and beyond in her classroom not only helping with academics but focusing on the whole of each of her students.”
Dimitri’s Restaurant is March’s Small Business of the Month winner! Dimitri’s is a family-owned, family-friendly restaurant located in Delta Township. They have been in business for nearly five decades. They serve professionals who work in Lansing, local families looking to celebrate graduation or sports teams’ wins and just about everyone else in the capital area.
