DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich., July 17, 2023 — General Motors unveiled its all-new 2024 Chevrolet Traverse today. This is the first model of the year of the crossover’s third generation. State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township), who spoke at the unveiling, issued the following statement:
“My district has more than 5,000 GM employees and retirees, and I could not be more excited for GM to unveil its new Chevy Traverse model right here in Delta Township. The announcement is a sign that GM is making a long-term investment in manufacturing in Delta Township and the greater Lansing area. This means greater support for the great-paying manufacturing jobs our state has secured in recent years. Today’s unveiling is another indication that our state is on the right path and has a bright future.”
