CHARLOTTE, Mich., Oct. 28, 2025 — State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Twp.) announced and presented the awardees for the 76th House District’s September Small Business and Teacher of the Month awards. Receiving 14 nominations from community members, the Small Business Award went to Kickin Glass, an in-shop auto glass installation mobile service based in Charlotte. The business owner, Bill Smith, was hailed by his nominators for his 37 years of experience and deep commitment to taking care of his clients and other small businesses of the area.

“On top of offering fair prices, transparency, mobile service and an expert job at glass replacement, Bill was praised by his nominators for his immense contributions to the community, which is invaluable in a small business owner,” Witwer said. “Whether he is entertaining people in our summer concert series in downtown Charlotte or volunteering with the VFW, he has a selfless and genuine character that has made him a staple in our community.”
