This weekend marks the Grand Rapids Pride Festival, a vibrant event that celebrates diversity and inclusion. Since its debut at the Monroe Amphitheater in 1988, the festival has been dedicated to fostering a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can express themselves freely. Michigan stands for equal rights, supporting the freedom to be who you are and love who you choose.

Equality is not negotiable, and I stand for protecting and advancing equal rights for all.
