Sometime on Sunday, a street in the City of Flushing received antisemitic and white supremacist leaflets thrown in bags at their houses. The police are currently investigating. It’s not a surprise that people like this are emboldened but it’s sad when it lands on your grandfather’s porch.

I'm sorry this happened and that it seems to be a rising trend in our communities 😭

Today, I attended the bill signing for the creation of a Research and Development Tax Credit here in Michigan. I am thankful for the efforts of Governor Whitmer, my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, my talented staff, and countless stakeholders for working on this legislation.
Some day in the near future, there will be new medicine developed that saves lives and technology invented that will change our economy. Because of our efforts today, those lives will be improved tomorrow and it will happen here in Michigan.

Yesterday, I was sworn in for my second term in the Michigan House of Representatives. While the House’s makeup is different from my first term, my priorities remain the same. I will continue to fight for an economy that uplifts working people, lowers costs for families, and reinvests in communities like the one I am honored to represent.

When the Michigan House couldn’t pull it together yesterday and we adjourned for the year, the Michigan Senate kept working. As of this morning, they have been in session for over 24 hours doing the people’s work. Thank you to my counterparts in the Senate for showing up to work and fighting for Michigan.

We had our 25th and final coffee hour of my first term this morning. I am thankful for the friends and neighbors who joined us at the Flushing Senior Center for a conversation on the final weeks of this term and plans going forward for the next two years.

For the past two years, Michigan House Democrats have passed an agenda that puts people first. As we approach the end of this term, we will finish how we started.

Tell us about the new toll roads you're proposing HB 6256. How does this help Michigaders? How does this help inflation. You are totally out of touch.

Our children can’t even read with 3rd grade Mstep scores as all time low, but sure let’s feed them birth control at school and teach them gender ideology as priority with bills such as 6068
Happy Veterans Day! On Friday, I spoke at the annual Flushing Veterans Appreciation Luncheon and was able to thank dozens of our local heroes for their service. As President Kennedy once said: “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
