Thank you to everyone who joined my Community Conversation last week in Royal Oak. I'm especially grateful for my special guest Michigan Secretary of State's Office.
We had a wonderful discussion on Real ID, democracy, and the work both of our offices are doing to support community members.

Just wrapped up a town hall at Macomb Community College. Grateful to everyone who showed up and shared their stories about how our community members are impacted by public education. And now we need to hear from YOU. What issues are important to you and your family, and how can MI House Democrats make those changes real? Visit housedems.com/vision-survey/ to share your voice. ... My volunteers and I are making sure that the voices of the 6th House District are heard in Lansing.
We're knocking on doors all summer with only one question: “What issues are important to you and your family?"
We’ve had so many incredible conversations so far. I look forward to connecting with more of you over the next several weeks!

Thank you to Representative Sharon MacDonell for hosting an engaging town hall this week. I'm grateful for all those who attended and shared their stories with us.
Our friends, family members, and neighbors know all too well what cuts to Medicaid will mean. It means poor or no access to life-saving care for people with disabilities, older adults, and low-income families. From DC to Lansing, Republican funding 'cuts' are eliminating essential support services for Michiganders.
