Last week, I was honored to present my first-ever Non-Profit of the Month Award to New Beginnings Animal Rescue in Royal Oak!
New Beginnings Animal Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue run by volunteers who work hard to find a home for every cat that comes through their doors. New Beginnings Animal Rescue welcomes volunteers to come in, lend a hand, and even spend some time playing with the cats! In these challenging times, a little kitten therapy can go a long way. Congratulations to Jenn, Lisa, and the entire New Beginnings Animal Rescue team for this well-deserved recognition!

Not sure if I am more angry or sad. No, it's angry.
Yesterday, I had the honor of presenting a tribute to Nancy Jacob in celebration of her 95th birthday, surrounded by her loving extended family in the comfort of her home. A proud Clawson resident for over 50 years, Nancy is a beloved part of our community, and it was a privilege to recognize her for this incredible milestone. I wish her many more years of joy, love, and cherished memories with her wonderful family! ... See MoreSee Less

People have asked me why they're trying to make so many cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and other critical programs at the federal level. I tell them it's to pay for $4.5 TRILLION of tax cuts FOR THE RICH (yes, including Musk and Trump)!
People don't believe me.
But it's here.

Extending the expiring tax cuts for individuals and large estates would double down on the flaws in the 2017 law by giving the biggest benefits to the wealthy.2 CommentsComment on Facebook

Why did the MAGA majority of the Michigan State House vote to praise Trump's killing off of the Department of Education? Speaker Hall says it's so

Aren't schools supposed to serve CHILDREN?
I would suggest people to start taking notes on what these elected officials are doing and saying, remember it when it's time to vote!
