Republicans spewing historically racist stereotypes in the People’s House in Lansing is horrific. Giving it a pass is unacceptable. Rep. Schriver owes the people of Michigan an apology.
On Friday, I had the incredible privilege of touring Medstar LifeFlight's Air Medical Base in Troy and meeting their extraordinary team. Their commitment, speed, and skill ensure critical care reaches those who need it most all across the state of Michigan. Thank you for your service and dedication!

Yesterday the House Republicans passed legislation to repeal our solar siting law enacted just last term. Repealing the law would put the fossil fuel industry's profits over union jobs, lower energy bills, property rights, and clean air. I know where I stand. I spoke out against this reckless legislation.
Thank you to everyone who came out to today's community conversation in Troy! We had a great discussion about staying engaged, getting involved, and the various issues currently being considered by the legislature!

That's why I support creating a Prescription Drug Affordability Board in Michigan to lower costs and put patients before profits.
