Today is the day! 🌟 I hope you can join me at my Renters and Homeowners Resource Fair from 4-6 at the Bowen Center in Pontiac (52 Bagley St.).
This event got me reflecting on the current state of housing in America. It’s clear we’re facing a housing crisis that impacts so many. 🏠I’ve shared more of my thoughts on this in my most recent op-ed—check it out through the link!
Looking forward to seeing you at the fair and having some important conversations about solutions!

How about the two of you work on ANF bills. Quit looking passed them . You both as being passed chair and co chair and rolls reversed this term . Need to do something. You Brenda Carter promised us a change a year ago. Stop passing this around, FIX THE FIX.
Rep State Representative Brenda Carter and Representative Harris, There are ANF bills that have been sitting there since last October - please dust them off and get those to the Governor’s desk so that THOUSANDS of Michiganders lives will be helped- WE MATTER, TOO!

Had an amazing time today reading The Cursive Letters Revolt to Ms. Sampson's 3rd grade class at Great Lakes Academy! 📚✨ The kids were so engaged and even helped me read along, bringing the story to life! Their excitement about the cursive letters' adventure was contagious! Huge thank you to author Christy Zwenger for gifting the book — your support means the world! 🖋️
This book ties perfectly into my passion for bringing cursive writing back to schools, and I'm excited to announce that I’ll be reintroducing this legislation soon. Let’s make sure kids continue to learn this important skill! 🙌✍️
Also, a big shoutout to Delta Dental for the awesome bag of toothbrushes and tooth charts. It’s always great to teach kids about the importance of good oral hygiene too! 🦷🪥
