Today, we passed bills to support victims of human trafficking. This package allows victims to be cleared of convictions for crimes they were forced to commit as a result of being trafficked and provides more protections for victims who are minors. This will be a vibrant space for sports, events, and community connection.Big News, Grand Rapids! 🎉 The GR Soccer Stadium will officially be named Amway Stadium! 🏟️ Thanks to a $33M donation from Amway, this development will feature 8,500 seats, an 18-story tower with restaurants, shops and more! 🏙️✨
The stadium will be located at 230 Winter Avenue NW and is expected to attract 160,000 visitors to downtown each year, contributing an estimated $408 million to the city's economy over the next 30 years.
Construction is set to begin in Spring 2025, with the first match planned for Spring 2027.
