It's an exciting time for campaign finance reform in Michigan!

Recently, the House passed my bill, which empowers the Bureau of Elections to address campaign finance violations in real-time.

This is the first of seven bills in the BRITE Act to pass the House, and I look forward to seeing the rest of the package advance. ☀️

Bombing of civilians.

Price gouging on evacuation flights.

No help from our own government in obtaining flights.

$157 million in "aid" after spending billions creating this crisis in the first place.

Do better, America. This is cruel and inhumane.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our community conversation this week!

Our special guest Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib brought the fire, and we honored our wonderful intern Sebastian with a State of Michigan tribute! ✨️

It was a very informative gathering, thank you

It's Banned Books Week, and my old classroom friends are reading Not Another Banned Book!

It's up to each of us to be on the right side of history, protect access to books, and fight back against the conservative movement to erase the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups. 📚

Proud to stand with my colleague State Representative Reggie Miller, as she introduced a bill banning the dumping of radioactive materials in Michigan!

For far too long, Wayne County specifically has served as a dumping ground for hazardous materials from across the country. No more!

We deserve clean air, water, and land, and this legislation will move us in the right direction. 🌎

You go, girls! You are doing great things!!

Today, the House held its annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony where I was glad to be joined by my special guest, Phil Hall, President of the Dearborn Heights Firefighters Union. 23 years later, we stand united in remembrance of those who were taken too soon, and we honor their legacy with love and strength. ...
