Proud to stand with my colleague State Representative Reggie Miller, as she introduced a bill banning the dumping of radioactive materials in Michigan!

For far too long, Wayne County specifically has served as a dumping ground for hazardous materials from across the country. No more!

We deserve clean air, water, and land, and this legislation will move us in the right direction. 🌎

Today is Women's Equality Day!

104 years ago, the 19th amendment was ratified, granting women the hard-earned right to vote.

The fight continued for women of color to gain equal access to the ballot box even after the 19th amendment was passed, as racist measures were put in place to deter their participation.

Voting rights are at risk to this very day, and we can never let up in our work to ensure equal access for every American!
