Mayor John B. "Jack" O'Reilly Jr. passed away this morning after a lifetime of service to his beloved city of Dearborn.

He will be remembered by everyone who has ever called Dearborn home and his legacy will impact new generations for decades to come.

My thoughts are with Mayor O'Reilly's family and loved ones. May they be wrapped in the warmth of their memories, as we collectively honor a life well-lived.

2024 was jam-packed with memories made in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, and our State Capitol! ✨️

Wherever 2025 takes us, I know we'll get there together. 💛

Divine Child students visited the Capitol today!

I love seeing our students in Lansing, and had a great time talking with them about the work we do in the House. 😊

Nobody advocates for legislation like our Dearborn and Dearborn Heights firefighters!

It was great seeing these friendly faces in Lansing, and I look forward to voting "yes" on HB 4688. 💪

This evening, I presented a tribute to Dr. Mosallam, who was chosen as Superintendent of the Year by the National Association of School Superintendents! ✨️

We are all so proud of Dr. Mosallam's accomplishments, and appreciate his dedication to every student and teacher in the Crestwood School District! 🎉
