Due to the war with Iran waged by Trump and Republicans, both energy prices and inflation are out of control. That means gas costs you more; heating your home costs you more; food costs you more. I know we all need relief and stability, not chaos.

"Governor Whitmer signs $42.5M authorization for Eastern Michigan University’s Roosevelt Hall transformation
The project marks a major milestone in phase two of the growth and expansion plan for the GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology (GACET). The renovation and expansion of the 1924 building will create modern learning, collaboration and technology spaces while supporting the continued growth of programs preparing students for high-demand careers across Michigan."
I am happy that the state of Michigan is continuing to invest in Eastern Michigan University!

Food is the most basic necessity, and yet, there are folks in our own state who can’t afford to fill the kitchen pantry because grocery prices keep getting higher from Republican economic policies. It is the job of elected officials to build people up, not bury them in impossible financial straits.

Prices are up on everything from gas to food to shipping, costing you more everywhere you go. Republicans think this is just the cost of doing business, but I think it’s unacceptable. I’m working to lower costs and keep money in your pocket.
We need to hold energy companies accountable, invest in alternative energy sources, and stop corporations from price-gouging everyday Michiganders.

Yesterday, SCOTUS rejected the Republican party’s attempt, under Trump, to impose new USPS restrictions on mail-in ballots. This means eligible Michigan voters can continue voting absentee by mail. This is a victory for democracy and every voter’s ability to make their voice heard.
