Thanks for showing our kids around the chamber and your office! It was a highlight of the day. And you were brave for fielding so many questions 😂. I love how you told them “I work for you.” It will make a lasting impression on these kids. Thanks again Rep. Joe Tate
I cannot thank you enough for spending time with my class at the Capitol. We loved meeting you, taking us to the House floor, and to your office. It will be a day that we never forget. 💚🤍
Rep. Joe Tate support Second Look Legislation and bring home some of the parents who are incarcerated to allow them to be a part of their child’s life- to help them learn and grow together. Mass Incarceration has to STOP YOU can help that happen

AUTO NO FAULT REFORM MATTERS!!!! #wecantwaitmi
Our voice matters- but you refuse to use your voice to speak out about CJ reform and prison reform! My voting plan is to vote people out who made big promises and didn’t follow through. Are you one of those people Joe?

Rep. Joe Tate speak up about Second Look legislation!
Indigenous Peoples' Day is a day to express gratitude to all of our native neighbors & reflect on the vital contributions they have made for our country, past & present. I'm also grateful that this year Michigan Dems passed legislation to create the Office of Tribal Legislative Liaison, so the 12 federally recognized tribes will always voice in our chambers. ... What about the auto no fault folks? Pass SB 530, 531, and 575! #wecantwaitmi
Thank you for your support, Speaker Joe Tate.
PATHETIC: Kamala Harris just complained Trump is not being "Transparent" by not releasing his health records to the public. Harris has a LOT of nerve complaining about "Transparency" when she accepts help from people in Michigan - where the Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Legislature such as "Sloppy Joe" Tate and Winnie "The Loser" Brinks have made themselves "immune" to the Freedom of Information Act.

Dan says it takes teamwork to overcome a problem. Rep. Joe Tate just doesn't understand the concept that there is no "i" in "team." Joe Tate actually said, "There is no 'i' in 'team,' but ther is a 'me' in 'team,' and that is what counts." Joe Tate is no team player.
I talked with Dan and he told me it is terrible the way Rep. Joe Tate, Senator Winnie Brinks, State Representative Graham Filler, Stephanie Chang, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer allow the Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act to be violated in such terrible ways and allow themselves to be "immune" to the FOIA. I agree with Dan all the way!
Quick story to share: Just a few weeks ago, we passed legislation to put more funding into classrooms & close the literacy gap for kids. Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer is signing the policy, making it law.
Moral of the story: Michigan Democrats don’t mess around when it comes to making schools strong & keeping kids healthy.
