Last night I was excited to join Keego Harbor leaders in a strategic visioning session focused on the future of the city! Since the day I threw my hat in the ring to run for office, I have loved the people of Keego and feel privileged to have the opportunity to advocate for this small but mighty community in Lansing. I will continue to work hand in glove with these leaders to procure state grants and investments to aid Keego. It’s very clear that with the dedication of all these brilliant leaders, Keego Harbor’s future is extremely bright. ✨Last night, members of the Keego Harbor City Council, Planning Commission, Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA), and Parks & Recreation Commission came together for a joint strategic visioning session focused on the future of our community.

Through thoughtful discussion and collaboration, participants identified four key pillars of the vision that will help guide future decision-making, investments, and community priorities:

🌊 Protect and Promote Our Natural Resources – Care for the lakes, waterways, trail systems, parks, and natural assets that make Keego Harbor unique, and increase opportunities for all residents to connect with our natural assets.

🤝 Smallness as Closeness – Embrace the connected, neighborly character of a small town while benefiting from our location in the heart of Oakland County.

🏪 Welcome Business Investment – Foster an environment where local businesses can thrive and new investment is encouraged.

🏡 Enhance Quality of Life – Support the services, amenities, and community experiences that make Keego Harbor a great place to live, work, and visit.

This session marks the beginning of a shared effort to align priorities across boards and commissions and turn community goals into meaningful action. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their ideas, energy, and commitment to Keego Harbor's future.
Thank you to Representative Noah Arbit for attending last night's strategic planning session!

I refuse to be governed by fear. I stand up to extremists in the Republican Party AND my own Party. I refuse to placate lobbyists or special interests, because I am far less afraid of losing my seat than I am of losing myself while trying to keep it. ... See MoreSee Less

I owe my fidelity to two things and two things alone: my own conscience and the people of West Bloomfield, Commerce, and the Lakes. The rest is noise. ... See MoreSee Less

Orchard Lake Road is closed at Commerce and at Indian Trail. Everyone please avoid the area. Hoping for the best for the driver and for all the residents and recreate of Pine Lake. What a crazy situation. 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less
