Please join the Michigan Women's Commission this Thursday, February 6, at 10:30 am for a webinar focusing on access to capital for women entrepreneurs and small business owners. Details are below! In the US, there are over 14 million women-owned small businesses, accounting for nearly 40% of all businesses in the country. Women-owned businesses pack a powerful economic footprint, generating $2.7 trillion in annual revenue and employing almost 12.2 million people. Despite this, start-ups and businesses owned by women received less than 3% of venture capital funding and those with all woman teams received only 1.9%.
