I introduced a resolution yesterday honoring March as Disability Awareness Month in Michigan. Over 2.3 million Michiganders live with disabilities, and it's important that they are fully included in our society. My resolution is especially important as people with disabilities risk losing funding that offers them the independence they deserve. Republicans in Washington cutting Medicaid by 880 billion dollars would leave our loved ones unaided, at home and isolated.
