This morning, I had the honor of being recognized by my former colleagues on the Kent County Commission as they unveiled the new additions to the "Commissioners Tree Grove" at Millennium Park.

We are now 16 days past the July 1st budget deadline. Schools are dipping into their savings to pay the bills while waiting for us to do our jobs, but House Republicans thought this was a more pressing matter.
We have months of catering to the far-right. It's time to get serious and get a bipartisan budget deal done.
