Speaker Tate is not only a competent leader, but he is also a fair, strong, and decisive one. House Democrats have passed an incredible amount of historic legislation this term — policies that will benefit generations to come in Michigan. We could not have accomplished all we have without Speaker Tate at the helm. I also have to say that he is a compassionate person who genuinely cares about caucus members and all Michiganders for that matter — to say differently would be a mischaracterization. ... Ms. Scott, Please vote NO on bill 6068. Stop the overreach on kids, learn where parental guidance and rights are compared to the constant overstepping. The bill pushes trans agenda, waives clergy involvement, gives kids contraceptives behind their parent’s back, teaches masturbation and calls abortion “family planning”. There’s a reason most everything went red— this will lead to a mass exodus from MI public schools
Our children can’t even read with 3rd grade Mstep scores as all time low, but sure let’s feed them birth control at school and teach them gender ideology as priority with bills such as 6068
Thank you for co-sponsoring 6068. Red states have higher teen birthrates, higher infant mortality rates, and for the most part lower graduation rates than blue states. Let's keep it that way www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2023-2024/billintroduced/House/pdf/2024-HIB-6068.pdf

Today, Governor Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced a program to provide contraception at no cost to Michigan residents. This program helps deliver on our state’s commitment to ensuring that all Michigan residents have the resources they need to make the family planning decisions that are best for them and for their families.
