Bills to create board focused on prescription drug affordability pass Michigan Senate again

Bills passed in the Michigan Senate Thursday would create a new board to possibly set price limits on some prescription drugs.
People need relief and lower everyday costs. With Republican tariffs on the rise, Michigan is ground zero for tariff impacts, and Michiganders are being forced to pay more for everyday necessities.
Senate Democrats passed smart legislation that would lower costs at the pharmacy counter and ensure fairly priced pharmaceuticals. Now House Democrats are taking the baton.
