Medicaid provides health care for 2.6 million people across Michigan including 1 million kids, 170,000 seniors, and 300,000 people with disabilities.
Over 60,000 #WashtenawCounty community members are covered by Medicaid.
Right now, proposed cuts to Medicaid could possibly terminate access to healthcare. If this goes into effect, the cost of care will go up for every single American and, here in Michigan, up to 750,000 people could lose access care.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) wants to hear from Michiganders about how Medicaid impacts their lives. You can share your story here: bit.ly/mdhhsst
