Had an amazing time today celebrating Juneteenth across the district! On Livernois, Black-owned businesses were having several special events, including ribbon cuttings for Pequeño Cantina (Pequeno After Dark) and Jerk at Night--be sure to check them out! No Barrier 2 Success was also holding a youth showcase, and it was wonderful to hear all about all the ways their program is helping to develop youth in our community. The City of Oak Park Juneteenth celebration was inspirational as always. Happy Juneteenth everyone ... See MoreSee Less
