My heart is with the Temple Israel congregation in West Bloomfield after yesterday’s violent attack. No one should ever have to fear for their safety while in a place of worship or at school.
I am grateful to the security personnel and first responders who acted quickly, and I wish a full and speedy recovery to the security guard who was injured.
Antisemitism has no place here in Michigan. I stand with our Jewish community and condemn this act of hate and violence.
