Governor Whitmer will deliver her 2025 State of the State Address on Feb. 26 where she will lay out her plan to build on the years of strong, bipartisan progress.
Along with the SOS, the Governor is challenging young, creative Michiganders to come up with a design for the program cover on the theme, “Think Michigan.” Students are welcome to use crayon, marker, paint or any other material.
To submit your design, please visit Michigan.gov/ArtContest and follow the instructions on the webpage. Submissions will be accepted exclusively through the online system and must be received no later than 11:59PM on Friday, February 14th.

Right to Counsel helps people who are facing eviction. This law gives eligible low-income renters or tenants the right to have a lawyer represent them in court at no cost to them.
Eligibility is strictly based on income. Detroit residents can get help before they go to court by calling the Detroit Housing Helpline at 866-313-2520 or online at MichiganLegalHelp.org.
