This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Michigan⛈️! Today at 1pm, we have a Statewide Tornado Drill.
Tornado drills are very important to ensure safe shelter/evacuation techniques are understood and observed. Don't be alarmed by the sirens today, and be sure to have a plan in place as we enter severe weather season across our state. This #SunshineWeek, let's shine a light on the dark corners of state government and ensure elected officials serve the people, not moneyed power brokers.
Today, I'm proud to reintroduce the BRITE Act — "Bringing Reforms for Integrity, Transparency, and Ethics" — to crack down on dark money influence, strengthen enforcement of campaign finance laws, and ensure accountability in Lansing. The BRITE Act will usher in a new, more transparent form of government, which is what the people of Michigan deserve.

I guess I’m the odd man out. I’m very disappointed in your vote in support of allowing trans girls to compete on girls high school athletic teams.
