I am gravely disappointed in the Governor's decision to veto the nine bills that were finally sent to her desk after nearly two years of going through the courts.
These bills would have helped hardworking people across our state by bringing down healthcare costs and investing in pensions.
I stand with my friends in organized labor, and everyone affected by this decision.
We fight on. ✊️

Our community is dealing with power outages, downed trees and power lines after last night's storm.
I have been in contact with DTE to escalate response times to downed wires that pose a serious safety threat.
I'd like to acknowledge and thank our first responders and DPW crews who have been working tirelessly to ensure residents' safety, and conduct cleanup efforts across Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.
We deserve so much more from our utility provider, and I will keep working to hold DTE accountable and demand investments in their infrastructure.
