“President Trump's dangerous assault on the United States Constitution, our co-equal branches of government, and on the American people meets the high bar for impeachment," said State Representative Jason Morgan (D-Ann Arbor).
"His actions are part of a coordinated plan to consolidate unchecked executive power and deny due process rights. This isn't about Trump destroying our economy or political differences, it's about standing up for our Constitution and the rule of law.
If we do not stand up now, then when? Enough is enough. Donald Trump must be impeached."

The Prescription Drug Affordability Board legislation has once again passed the Senate. My Democratic colleagues are calling on the Republicans and Speaker Matt Hall to take up this crucial legislation in the House to bring the costs of life-saving medications down for all Michiganders. Bills passed in the Michigan Senate Thursday would create a new board to possibly set price limits on some prescription drugs.
People need relief and lower everyday costs. With Republican tariffs on the rise, Michigan is ground zero for tariff impacts, and Michiganders are being forced to pay more for everyday necessities.
Senate Democrats passed smart legislation that would lower costs at the pharmacy counter and ensure fairly priced pharmaceuticals. Now House Democrats are taking the baton.
